What is collected
As you use the builder, it saves your answers and a randomly generated run ID for that interview. If you skip a question, it saves the question and the reason you chose so Clint can improve future questions. The tool also keeps counts of whether answers add useful project information. When you accept or edit the final review, it records which parts of the summary were confirmed or changed and whether a change added, changed, or removed a detail. It does not store another copy of those details. If you submit the brief, it also collects the finished project summary, your name, your email address, and any note you add.
How site activity is counted
A small counter keeps daily totals for a few actions: contact and project-link clicks, successful contact-form deliveries, and successful Scope Builder submissions. Those totals do not include IP addresses, browser details, contact information, project answers, or a visitor ID. They are action counts, not individual visitor records.
A successful inquiry also gets a random reference. Clint can mark that reference as new, qualified, or not a fit so he can tell whether the site is leading to useful conversations. The conversion table stores the reference, source, and status, but not the person’s name, email address, message, or project answers. Submitted details are still handled separately as described below.
How it is used
Your answers are used to build an initial project summary, improve future interview questions, and help Clint understand and respond to the request. Cloudflare Workers AI may process the project details. Your name, email address, and optional note are not sent to the AI.
Where it goes
Interview records are stored privately in Cloudflare D1 so Clint can review and improve the questions, even if you do not submit your contact information. Submitted briefs are also stored privately and emailed to Clint. There is no public brief page or public lookup.
How long it is kept
Interview records and their linked skip and review feedback are set to expire 30 days after the latest interview activity. Expired records are removed during later interview activity. Separate totals about question usefulness, review changes, site actions, and inquiry outcomes may be kept longer; those totals do not include answer values or contact details. Submitted briefs are kept only as long as they are needed to evaluate, discuss, or carry out the project, or maintain legitimate business records. You can ask for deletion sooner. A completed deletion request covers the private database record, the email copy, and the associated inquiry reference.
What is not done
- Your information is not sold.
- Your email is not added to a marketing list.
- Your project details are not published through this tool.
Deletion requests
You can ask for a submission to be deleted through the portfolio contact form. Include the reference ID shown after submission when possible.
